Email-to-Order AI Pipeline
Automated order processing via AI extraction from emails, integrated with ERP. Unstructured emails are converted into structured orders — fully hands-off.
Challenge
A wholesale distributor received hundreds of orders by email every day — in all kinds of formats, languages, and styles. Manual processing cost the team hours per day and was error-prone.
Approach
Built an event-driven pipeline on Azure that picks up incoming emails, uses LLM extraction to identify the relevant order data, and automatically feeds it into the ERP system. Includes validation, error handling, and an operations dashboard.
Result
Processing time per order dropped from ~8 minutes to seconds. The team can now focus on exceptions instead of routine copy-paste work.
